Imagine if you lived in a world where last year, there was no IRS, no taxes. (whoo hoo the good old days!)

Then all the sudden, you have to pay taxes this year. The IRS sends out all the rules and forms and deadlines. What do you do?

So maybe you freak out for a bit, that is normal when faced with something new and complex.

Do you avoid it because its scary? Do you hide under your desk and check your Instagram ? Do you do everything BUT look at your taxes?

Well, maybe for a little while. But, if you are serious about staying in business, the answer is no, of course you don’t ignore it.

You set up a system to keep the books, track the moola, and pay that tax bill, right?

It is no different with video.

Well, actually, that is not true. As much as you might be dreading video, it is MUCH more fun than paying taxes.

So how do you set up a system? Here are the steps:

1. Set up your video homebase, so you know where your lights go, where your mic is, where to put your face in the frame and you can be ready to shoot within 5 minutes or less.

2. Batch your video production. Plan ahead and do at least 3 at a time, on the same day of the week or month.

3. Work with an editor. If you batch your production, you can get the edit done quickly and efficiently.

3. Set up your files system online to organize the video pieces, so that your editor and team can find what they need, and you will always know the status of your video projects, and even if its 10 PM and your VA just quit. #ORGANIZED .

How often have you told yourself, “I’ll get to this later”.

Nope. Later, Maybe and Somedayland are not the place to park your marketing goals aka the future growth of your business.(or any stretch goal in life, tbh)

And idea for a video is simply pent-up potential.

Ideas are so powerful, but have you noticed that nothing happens until you start. Starting now is NOT the same to starting “later”.

According to the internet meme-o-sphere, the Buddha said, “The problem is, you think you have time”.

Here is the truth: All the social media platforms are IN LOVE with video for 2021 and beyond.

Your audience is IN LOVE with video, always. (Know, Like and Trust, you know?)

I encourage you to get a system dialed in for video in 2021.

Seriously, what else is going to have more impact for your business?

Getting a system and strategy for video is one thing some members work on in my Visibility Velocity Mastermind. If you are looking for some support, I invite you to find out more and pick up a superlative tool to help you get your big picture out of your head and onto some paper.

Do you know someone who could use a little help from some friends with their videos? You can easily share this with them, or to social media, by clicking on the box with the arrow just above the photo. Thank you!
